We are all AL students and also digital citizens, as digital citizens we got rights and responsibilities.

Digital Rights and Responsibilities

The definition of digital rights and responsibilities is having the right and freedom to use all types of digital technology, and the responsibility  of using the technology in an acceptable and appropriate manner. As a user of digital technology, you also have the right to privacy and the freedom of personal expression.

Digital Rights:

1. To keep your personal information private.

2. To report ciberbullying to parents or teachers.

3. To be asked for permission before someone shares information about me.

4. To be treated with respect, and report any risky situation.

Digital Responsibilities

1. Be considerate and kind in discussions and on social media.

2. Give proper credit to sources.

3. Never agree to meet an online friend in person. Ask your parents first.

4. To be careful before downloading files or clicking links.

Class Activity

Create a comic strip in a positive sense about:

    a. Rights of a Digital Citizen.

    b. Responsibilities of a Digital Citizen.
